Senior Automation Engineer - Cypress/JMeter (5-7 yrs)

What you will be doing :

- Automated Test Development & Execution : Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Jest for unit testing JavaScript applications and Cypress for comprehensive end-to-end testing of web applications.

API Testing : Leverage tools like Postman to automate and integrate API tests, ensuring reliability and consistency in backend services.

Framework Design & Maintenance : Create and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks, primarily using Jest for unit tests and Cypress for browser-based testing.

Test Reporting & Analysis : Generate test reports, analyze test results, and work with developers to troubleshoot test failures, improving overall test accuracy and reliability.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance test coverage, improve testing strategies, and provide feedback to enhance the overall product quality.

Test Optimization : Continuously optimize test execution for faster performance and ensure that automated tests remain stable and scalable as the application evolves.

What we expect :

- Experience : Minimum of 4.5 years of hands-on experience in automated testing, with strong expertise in Jest and Cypress.

- Strong Knowledge of Jest : In-depth understanding of Jest, including writing unit, integration, and snapshot tests.

- Ability to configure Jest and create test suites for different JavaScript-based projects.

- Experience with Cypress : Hands-on experience with Cypress for front-end testing, including the ability to write robust, reliable, and scalable end-to-end tests for web applications.

- API Testing with Postman : Experience in designing and automating API tests using Postman and integrating them into the test automation pipeline.

- Problem Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills for analyzing failing tests, identifying issues, and working with developers to resolve problems efficiently.

- Test Optimization : Ability to maintain, optimize, and refactor automation scripts as needed to ensure the automation suite remains efficient, reliable, and up-to-date.

- Collaboration : Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.

- Attention to Detail : A meticulous approach to creating comprehensive, high-quality tests and documentation, ensuring complete test coverage and robust product quality
