Senior Cypress Automation Test Engineer (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of testers in the development and execution of automated test scripts using Cypress.io.

- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress.

- Automate test cases at various levels, including component, end-to-end, and regression testing.

- Utilize Groovy scripting for enhanced automation capabilities (a plus).

- Generate comprehensive test reports and effectively communicate testing results to stakeholders.

- Experience with retail e-commerce testing and pricing knowledge is a plus.

- Experience with cloud testing environments like AWS is a plus.

- Integrate test automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and tools in web automation testing.

Qualifications :

- 5-6 years of experience in software quality assurance (QA), with a minimum of 4 years focused on test automation.

- Proven experience with Cypress.io for web application testing.

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.

- Experience in building and maintaining reusable test automation components.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
