Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - API Testing (4-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated API test scripts using Java and Rest Assured.

- Design and implement robust API automation frameworks using BDD principles.

- Collaborate with developers and other testers to understand API requirements and design effective test strategies.

- Execute and debug automated API tests to identify and report defects.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

- Maintain and update test automation documentation.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in API automation tools and techniques.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API automation.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java programming and API automation frameworks (Rest Assured preferred).

- Strong understanding of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) principles.

- Experience with test automation tools (Postman is a plus).

- Experience with API testing methodologies and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
