Chief Manager - Training and Capacity Building

The Chief Manager - Training and Capacity Building at SELCO will be a key resource to develop a Training and Capacity Building plan for the purpose of various external and internal stakeholders as well as planning and executing a dissemination strategy. The Chief Manager will be responsible to develop Content in coordination with various departments in SELCO for various roles and duration of the program. The Chief Manager will also be responsible to strategise and monitor the functioning of the Training Centers. The Chief Manager is expected to explore the Capacity Building landscape and explore potential opportunities to create a revenue channel.

Responsibilities

• Assess the internal training needs for various positions within the Organization by interacting with various Departments.
• Develop tailored training material for each position in partnerships with various stakeholders including external entities.
• Explore modern digital and other tools to ensure knowledge dissemination in a more effective manner.
• Develop an annual Training Plan and ensure the implementation.
• Monitor the Capacity Building landscape and create revenue channels for the Department.
• Publicise the Training and Capacity Building Department for greater visibility.

Requirements

• Practical, hands-on experience of a minimum of 8-10 years in Training and Capacity Building
• Experience in developing Content in general and preferably with Decentralised Renewable Energy.
• Self-motivated, responsible and should be engaged and highly interested in the developmental agenda
• Ability to learn quickly from multiple subject areas and be a team player with excellent managerial and people skills to mentor and motivate other team members
• Willingness to travel for 3-5 days in a month or on need basis
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of any other local languages Hindi, Kannada
