Summary:

The Securonix Threat Labs team seeks an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to our Threat Labs team, focusing on the Autonomous Threat Sweep (ATS) and Threat Intelligence offerings. The ATS engine retroactively hunts for new and emerging threats in historical and current data, leveraging cutting-edge threat intelligence and automation.

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will process, organize, and analyze incident indicators, correlate them with intelligence holdings, and provide actionable insights. A key part of this role involves maintaining and enhancing the Python-based codebase for the ATS service, implementing optimizations, bug fixes, and performance improvements to align with evolving threat intelligence needs.

This position requires direct interaction with researchers, detection engineers, and executive audiences, demanding a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities. Responsibilities:

• Monitor, evaluate, and research all-source cyber threat intelligence to stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape and adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Develop and deliver high-quality Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) reports for various audiences, ensuring actionable intelligence.
• Enhance and maintain the Python-based codebase for the ATS service, including implementing optimizations, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
• Evaluate and curate multiple threat intelligence feeds to correlate security events effectively.
• Execute all phases of the intelligence cycle: collection, analysis, production, and dissemination.
• Collaborate with internal operations teams to develop detections, improve processes, and automate containment/remediation activities.
• Perform proactive research to identify and characterize emerging threats, drafting detailed threat intelligence products as needed.
• Build and maintain intelligence-sharing relationships within the cybersecurity community.
• Develop use cases aligned with common frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) to detect evolving threats.
• Create and deliver compelling briefings and intelligence reports, presenting findings to executives and customers confidently.
• Support the evaluation of threat intelligence vendors and expand the capabilities of our intelligence services.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, focusing on all-source intelligence and cyber threat analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience maintaining and optimizing codebases.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience with SIEM platforms or security data lakes is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of adversary techniques, emerging threats, and CTI principles (e.g., TTPs, IOCs, malware analysis).
• Hands-on experience with threat intelligence tools, malware sandboxes, reverse engineering, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize disparate data and assess security implications effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality technical reports, blog posts, white papers, or presentations.
• Expertise in log analysis across diverse platforms (e.g., cloud services, DNS, email, DHCP, VPN).
• Ability to manage threat indicators, signatures, and TTPs effectively.
• Experience applying CTI expertise across domains such as finance, disinformation, targeting, or space is a plus.
