Sr.QA Engineer

Job Description
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test strategy documents, and test cases.
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using the automation framework.
Support building new/ improving/ maintaining existing automation framework.
Should participate in the Code review process.
Perform regression testing and participate in release cycles.
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
Liaise with other internal teams to identify system requirements and perform end-to-end testing to ensure quality throughout the life cycle.

Stay up to date with new testing methodologies and testing tools.

Qualification
5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Testing, Automation framework design (desirable) or related experience
Strong experience with building and writing automation scripts and/or programs using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium etc.
Hands-on experience in building automation framework, and maintaining it.
Strong programming experience in Java Script/ Type Script / Java or similar object-oriented language.
Good experience in writing BDD scenarios using Gauge/Cucumber/Serenity/ any other BDD tool.
Hands on experience in API testing preferably with the Rest Assured tool.
Experience in Security Testing/Performance Testing(preferably JMeter or Taurus) is an advantage
Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration, or continuous delivery
