We are now entering our next phase of growth, with a brand-new marketing function designed to support expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused B2B marketer to play a key role in shaping our marketing capability, driving demand, and positioning Scrumconnect in the market.

As part of our growing Marketing team, youll work closely with our UK-based Head of Marketing to execute a plan that directly influences some of Britains biggest organisations, driving demand and making our mark in a fast-moving industry.

The role offers the perfect blend of feeding ideas into the mix with hands-on execution, making it an ideal prospect for an energetic senior marketing executive who has a track record of making an immediate impact. You will have a strong track record in B2B demand generation, ideally covering everything from digital to content creation and production. You’ll also bring demonstrable experience in stimulating market engagement, enhancing brand visibility, and delivering creative, results-focused campaigns.

What you’ll do

• Execute and optimise demand generation campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive engagement among B2B audiences.
• Create and manage compelling marketing content, including blog posts, multimedia, podcasts, case studies, whitepapers, and social media updates, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
• Plan and manage performance-driven digital campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and email marketing platforms to generate leads.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, from digital content to offline events and sales assets.
• Manage and enhance Scrumconnect’s presence across social media channels to boost engagement and visibility.
• Support and coordinate virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, client meetings, and industry expos.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop sales enablement materials and lead-nurturing initiatives.
• Grow and optimise the company website by improving content, SEO, and user experience.
• Monitor and report on key marketing metrics, such as conversion rates and ROI, using data insights to refine future campaigns.

Nice to have: Digital Marketing skills that will give you an edge

This is a generalist B2B marketing role, but any experience you bring to the table in the way of digital marketing, including PPC and analytics, would give you an advantage:

• Familiarity with Google Analytics (ideally GA4) and Google Search Console, or another commercial SEO tool like SEMrush.
• PPC and paid media experience, including Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads, campaign setups, keyword research, ad copywriting, performance tracking.
• Ad bidding and optimisation knowledge, including bid strategies, audience targeting, A/B testing and budget management.
• Conversion tracking and performance analysis to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Hands-on experience with a CRM platform such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, or Marketo for lead nurturing and marketing automation.Role & responsibilities
