Job Description :

Sciometrix is seeking a Technical Program Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution, analyzing system requirements, ensuring compliance with EMR requirements, and driving the success of technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously, with an emphasis on healthcare interoperability, including FHIR and HL7 standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to ensure timely delivery of technical projects in the healthcare domain.

- Gather and analyze system requirements, focusing on EMR integration, ensuring compatibility with healthcare systems and compliance with industry standards like FHIR and HL7.

- Facilitate interoperability across healthcare systems and platforms, ensuring seamless communication between EMRs, patient management systems, and third-party healthcare applications.

- Coordinate and manage project schedules, milestones, and resources to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope.

- Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of technical solutions and software products that integrate with healthcare systems using FHIR, HL7, and other interoperability standards.

- Analyze and track project performance, identifying potential risks related to EMR integrations and providing solutions to ensure successful delivery.

- Develop project documentation, including technical specifications, user stories, project plans, and progress reports, with a focus on EMR-related use cases.

- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including business leaders, healthcare professionals, and technical teams, to ensure alignment and clarity of project goals.

- Monitor project risks and issues, escalating to management when necessary and proposing mitigation strategies, particularly regarding compliance with healthcare standards.

- Perform data analysis and reporting to assess program impact and inform future development decisions, ensuring that healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7) are met.

- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare interoperability to enhance program and project execution.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Healthcare Technology, or a related technical field.

- Proven experience 4-7 years in a technical program management or technical analyst role, preferably in the healthcare or software development domain.

- Strong understanding of healthcare system architectures, EMRs, and healthcare-specific data standards such as FHIR and HL7.

- Familiarity with key data integration techniques and tools for healthcare systems, including FHIR APIs, HL7 messaging protocols, and EMR interfaces.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).

- Strong technical skills and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) and system architecture.

- Experience with interoperability challenges in healthcare, including data integration, API design, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility.

- Ability to analyze and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in the healthcare domain.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset to overcome project challenges, particularly in the context of healthcare systems.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience working with FHIR-based applications and APIs.

- Knowledge of HL7 messaging protocols and standards (e.g., HL7 v2, HL7 CDA).

- Experience with healthcare-specific systems and technologies, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR),

- Practice Management Systems (PMS), and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).

- Experience in data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and ensuring that data integration complies with healthcare compliance standards.

- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus.
