Job Description
- To undertake responsibility of Sourcing of Batching Plant. Responsible for Cost Reduction through alternate sourcing, Value engineering and Negotiation.
- Fabrication, Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal, strategic sourcing, New Product Development, Cost Reduction, Price Negotiation, Team Management

Procuring new component & new project development as per target time.
- Develop Capacity to meet line production.
- Create Source list, MRP Parameters & Quota for auto release of purchase orders.
- To attain targeted cost reduction within stipulated time as per the Align update list.
- Co-ordination with Business Partners for Corrective & Preventive action implementation for the quality issues faced on receipt & in SSIPL Shop Floor.
- Maintaining All Parts Master Cost Data.
- Ensuring zero in-house rework on made out part supplies.
- Acting on contingency situation to prevent line stoppages
- Daily updating on day to day requirement / Activity based on line stoppages.
- Planning Alternate Development Execution, Updating and Review
- One-time components can be made by fool proof methods to avoid assembly reworks.
- Cost working / Price Negotiation / Maintaining Pricing data & for all Batching Plant.
- Monitoring & maintain of price changes based on fluctuation in steel price through cost working, price negotiation, purchase price proposal preparation & updating price in SAP based MMR price variations.
- Providing of Sample to Business Partners for development & ensuring return of samples within 30 days of supply of samples.
- Co-ordination with team members & inter departments members to streamline the developed components involving multiple operations.
- Ensuring availability of minimum 2 suppliers for all runner & critical parts.
- To care of special procurements based on projects.
- Co-ordinance to Materials sales
- Issue of JJ form to Business Partners.
- Daily Indent to be reviewed and necessary Purchase order to be converted in proto basis.

I am in R&D working in core products that gives satisfaction.
- Skill development - Good
For R&D people also 2nd & 3rd weekends only leaves, other weeks Sunday only leave, except main Head office other plants like D6, G12, F75 foods are not good even plate also not good, basic needs food they are not taking care for people working here.in f72 plant they are keeping all goods in walking area safety less.
