We are looking for Senior Backend Engineers at Scapia!.

You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend architecture of our products.

You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of our backend services while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices across the engineering team.

Focus Areas :

Architecture & Design :

- Lead the design and architecture of complex backend systems.

- Develop high-level and detailed design documentation.

- Ensure the backend architecture is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Development & Implementation :

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in [relevant programming languages, preferably java and spring].

- Develop and maintain APIs, databases, and other backend components.

- Implement best practices for code management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Leadership :

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.

Performance & Scalability :

- Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.

- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the production environment.

- Ensure high availability and reliability of backend services.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Profile :

- 4-8 years of experience in backend development, with a strong track record of designing and implementing complex systems.
