We are looking someone to drive Category Growth in the travel business team. In this role you will play a critical part in driving the growth and success of Scapia. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities & developing strategies to achieve business objectives for the category.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L: Ideating & implementing topline & bottom line strategies for short & long term on driving right selection, portfolio mix and margin improvement
- Market Understanding: Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competition to identify new innovations and opportunities.
- Selection design, ops & pricing: Understanding & comparing product selection deeply and building strategy with good prioritisation. Developing the pricing through discounts, offers etc.
- CRM, Marketing & Merchandising: Working closely with category marketing teams to drive growth by leveraging & identifying marketing opportunities in-app & off-app to engage users
- Stakeholder management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, design, marketing, CX
- Analytical Mindset: Identify & understand customer trends, conversion funnels and cohort analyses & recommend business decisions based on the same
What you'll need:
- A passion for putting the customer first and thinking like a traveller!
- You would be expected to demonstrate deep customer centricity thinking & sharp on executing ideas.
- 2-3 years of experience in Category / Growth or business analysis
- A degree from a Tier 1/2 school is great, but your attitude matters most
- A knack for creative thinking-you're not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (SQL, Python) is a plus
- You take action quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- You're hands-on, love solving problems, and can work both independently and in a team setting
