Quality Assurance Lead - Web App Testing (4-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead Web Automation to lead and drive automation testing efforts for our web applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on quality assurance, proficiency in automation tools, and leadership skills to mentor a team of QA engineers in delivering robust and scalable testing solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead the automation testing efforts for web applications using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure application quality and reliability.

- Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers in automation strategies and best practices.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.

- Collaborate closely with product and development teams to align testing strategies with product requirements.

- Perform cross-browser testing and API testing to ensure compatibility and performance across platforms.

- Analyze test results, report issues, and track progress until resolution.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 4+ years of experience in QA automation for web applications.

- Strong proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.

- Proven experience in cross-browser and API testing.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in performance testing tools.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
