Quality Control & Shipping Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control & Shipping Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our printed products meet the highest quality standards while also managing the shipping process to deliver products on time and in perfect condition. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital, UV, and sublimation printing processes and a keen eye for quality, paired with strong organizational skills for shipping and logistics management.

Role & responsibilities:

• Quality Control Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough quality checks on printed products at all stages of production (pre-press, in-process, and post-production).
• Inspect products for color consistency, resolution, alignment, finish, and other defects (e.g., smudges, streaks, or blemishes).
• Ensure all materials (artwork, substrates, and inks) align with job specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor and verify printing parameters such as temperature, ink density, pressure, and drying time to ensure production consistency.
• Document and report quality issues, coordinate with the production team for corrections, and implement preventive measures.
• Shipping Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end shipping process, including packing, labeling, and dispatching products to customers or distribution points.
• Ensure that all shipments are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pick-ups and track shipments.
• Verify shipping documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and courier labels.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and report any discrepancies.
• Inventory & Material Management:
• Oversee and manage the stock of packaging materials and shipping supplies.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely availability of materials for shipping.
• Calibration & Maintenance:
• Ensure that all digital, UV, and sublimation printing equipment is regularly calibrated and maintained.
• Schedule routine checks and coordinate with the maintenance team for any repairs.
• Customer Interaction (if required):
• Address customer feedback related to product quality or shipping concerns.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
• Process Improvement:
• Suggest and implement process enhancements to improve quality control and shipping efficiency.
• Work on reducing transit damage and ensuring faster turnaround times.
