Job Description: Electrical Engineer Chemical Factory

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to oversee and maintain electrical systems in our chemical manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for candidates with 0 to 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance within an industrial setting. The selected candidate will work closely with maintenance, production, and safety teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switchgear, and control panels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime in production.
• Ensure proper functioning of power distribution systems and backup generators.

2. Installation & Commissioning

• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Work with vendors and contractors for project execution and maintenance services.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Monitor power consumption and suggest energy-saving initiatives.
• Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance activities and inspections.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, factory regulations, and industry best practices.
• Implement safety measures such as grounding, insulation checks, and emergency shutdown systems.
• Conduct electrical risk assessments and participate in plant safety audits.

5. Automation & Control Systems

• Work with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for process control and automation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and programming of electrical control systems.
• Optimize electrical and automation processes to improve plant efficiency.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Prepare reports on power usage, breakdown analysis, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient plant operations.
