Mechanical Engineer

Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Chemical Factory (0 to 5 Years Experience)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee and maintain mechanical systems in our chemical manufacturing plant. This role involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have 0 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Identify mechanical failures and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure the smooth operation of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, reactors, and other process equipment.

2. Installation & Commissioning

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and mechanical systems.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure proper equipment setup and integration.
• Conduct performance testing and validation of installed equipment.

3. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for plant machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and lifespan.
• Utilize predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis and thermography.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Implement best practices to prevent mechanical failures and safety incidents.

5. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Support production teams in improving mechanical processes for better efficiency and reliability.
• Suggest modifications to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and process automation initiatives.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for plant improvements.
• Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for mechanical systems.
