SAP EWM Consultant - Implementation & Support (7-20 yrs)

Job Description : SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP EWM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP EWM solutions to optimize and enhance warehouse operations. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and providing innovative solutions to meet their operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement Analysis & Solution Design :

- Gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse processes.

- Design and implement end-to-end SAP EWM solutions to support logistics and supply chain operations.

- Propose and document functional and technical specifications.

System Implementation :

- Configure SAP EWM modules including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and warehouse management processes.

- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other third-party systems.

- Perform data migration, system testing, and user acceptance testing.

Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide ongoing support for SAP EWM systems to ensure seamless warehouse operations.

- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Training & Documentation :

- Deliver training sessions to end-users and stakeholders.

- Develop comprehensive process documentation and user manuals.

Process Optimization :

- Analyze existing warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Recommend and implement system enhancements to achieve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- 7+ years of experience with SAP EWM implementation and support.

- Hands-on expertise in SAP EWM functional areas such as Goods Receipt, Putaway, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.

- Experience with SAP integrations (e.g., IDocs, RFCs, APIs).

Key Skills :

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes.

- Expertise in SAP EWM components such as RF Framework, Resource Management, and Storage Control.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP EWM certification.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

- Knowledge of material handling equipment integration (e.g., conveyor systems, ASRS).
