Job Title Manager - Strategic Sourcing Supply Chain

As the Manager of Strategic Sourcing Supply Chain, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, increase efficiency, and improve the overall supply chain performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sourcing and procurement of materials, products, and services. Your role will be critical in driving our companys mission to optimize procurement processes and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to meet the companys objectives for cost, quality, and delivery performance
- Manage supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, quality, and cost
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, lead time, and payment terms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, manufacturing, and engineering, to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and facilitate effective communication and collaboration
- Analyze market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation
- Work with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics to measure and track sourcing and supply chain performance
- Lead supplier selection and qualification processes to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply base

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related field; Masters degree is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing and developing supplier relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
