General Manager (Milk Procurement & Inputs)

In order to spearhead the milk procurement and inputs activities, we are under look out for a senior person to join our leadership team in the position of General Manager (Milk Procurement & Inputs) wing.

Role & responsibilities

1) Develop and implement effective milk procurement strategies in tune with the business requirements.

2) Build and maintain strong and enduring relationships with farmers, FPOs and other stakeholders.

3) Ensure adherence to quality standards and protocols for milk procurement.

4) Manage the milk supply chain, including logistics, transportation, and storage.

5) Lead and manage a team of milk procurement professionals.

6) Develop and implement input activities (Animal Husbandry, Artificial Insemination, Fodder Development, and cattle feed supply).

7) Analyse data on milk procurement, quality, and supply chain performance.

8) Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or Dairy Science or Agriculture.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in milk procurement and inputs activities, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Age: 45-50 years.
• Exposure to ERP environment and data analysis desirable.
