Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (4-6 yrs)

As a member of the QA Automation Engineering team, your primary responsibilities would be :

- Learn and understand the deception domain.

- Learn and understand the product functionality.

- API validation of the SaaS infrastructure and product.

- Build automation for API validation.

- Work with product management to understand requirements and provide feedback.

- Understand the functionality from deception perspective and then design and develop tests.

- Validate product installation across environments (hardware and cloud)

- Test execution and bug reporting.

- Self-development and upskilling to bring value to the role and company.

The following are a must have for this role :

- Bachelor's degree in engineering

- 4 to 6 years hands on experience in QA (Automation) at product companies OR

- 4 to 6 years hands on experience in DevOps QA at SaaS companies.

- At least 3 years hands-on experience of microservice and API validation.

- Clear and in depth understanding of the product functionality that you have worked on.

- Strong ability to analyse requirements.

- Hands on experience in developing & execution of test cases and debugging issues.

- Strong hands-on experience in API automation

- Experience in test plan preparation, test case design and test execution.

- Good understanding of Operating System and Networking functioning

- Extensive knowledge in testing methodologies

- Good problem solving and debugging ability.

- Good communication skills and an attitude to find solutions by interacting with engineers across teams.

The following are good to haves :

- Candidates with Kubernetes experience are preferred.

- Experience in security product companies is added advantage.

- Hands on experience in Microsoft Active Directory is added advantage.

- Hands on experience testing on Cloud platforms like GCP and/or AWS and/or Azure.

- Hands on experience in Vulnerability and Exploits is added advantage.
