About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through the development and execution of automated regression tests, performance testing, and comprehensive testing of both web and non-GUI applications. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to deliver high quality software that meets our customers' needs.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated regression test suites using Selenium WebDriver.

- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter to identify and address bottlenecks.

- Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman.

- Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.

- Perform comprehensive testing of non-GUI applications, including SQL, flat files, and XML.

- Ensure the quality of web applications through functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA.

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Proven experience in scripting automated regression tests using Selenium WebDriver.

- Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter.

- Strong SQL skills (inserts, updates, joins, etc.).

- Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.

- Familiarity with development concepts and formats such as XML, JSON, and scripting languages.

- Experience testing web applications and web services.

- Hands on Experience in API(postman) testing.

- Experience testing non-GUI applications (SQL, flat files, XML, etc.).

- Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Development background is a plus.

- Experience with Apache Lucene based search technologies like ElasticSearch and Solr.

- Experience with AWS services.
