Cost Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for calculating costs and preparing quotes for Customer Support Operations (CSO) Department. This helps CSO department to manage technical projects efficiently while keeping costs in mind.

1.Cost Analysis and Estimation: Conduct thorough cost calculations and profitability analyses for various shop visit scenarios to support management in decision-making before, during, and after the visits.

2.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shop visit costs, preparing detailed reports on financial performance and discrepancies to present to management.

3.Communication of Cost Variances: Initiate and share cost alerts with management in case of budget overruns, and effectively communicate findings and quotes with clients to maintain transparency and trust.

4.Data Collection and Insight Generation: Collect and analyze data on consumed parts and repairs, providing insights that contribute to better cost control and accurate future cost estimations.

5.Administrative Management of Contracts: Update and maintain client contracts and documentation within MRO software, ensuring proper archiving and compliance with contractual obligations while providing support to relevant teams.

Preferred candidate profile

1.Qualified CMA/ICWA/MBA(Finance)

2.Demonstrated experience in cost controlling and project management

3.Knowledge of aircraft engines will be an added advantage

4.Good understanding of commercial and contractual conditions

5.Good knowledge of IT tools as SAP, Power BI and MS Excel.
