Cost Analyst

The objectives of the position are achieved through the following main tasks:

• Cost Calculation before, during and after the shop visit:

- Perform cost and/or profitability analyses based on shop visit scenarios to support the commercial management process and engineering teams, enabling the relevant stakeholders to make informed decisions before engaging activities

- Setup tools and dashboards to follow-up actual costs along the key technical milestones of the shop visit to track project performance, providing reliable inputs to the relevant managers for efficient decision making on the management of shop visit and ensure optimum costs and lead time.

- Perform detailed variance analysis on labor and material elements to share with stakeholders

- Develop costing model and quotations for diverse natures of activities (engines maintenance/

custom services / internal repairs / insurance-logistic matters/ etc.).

- Follow up each project until completion and confirmation of all final actual costs for the continuous improvement of the costing model, supporting engineering team on cost control and commercial teams.

• Reporting and Cost Analysis Related to engine Shop Visits:

- Monitor and analyze the KPI of engine Shop Visit Cost for LEAP engines product line.

- Analyze and provide feedback on consumed parts to report to the Maintenance Cost Review Board.

- Document and report Cost Alerts with SAESI/ SAE management in case of significant cost overruns.

- Collect, record, and share with clients Shop Finding Reports and associated quotes for all parts and work sent for subcontracting (LRU/ Intragroup/ External).

- Conduct adhoc strategic cost analyses at the request of the entity or Safran Group.

• Various Tasks at the Administrative Support Level:

- Update and interpret the cost calculation program (AOT) and the tool for statistics (ECLAIREUR/

CT PBI) in coordination with the Division.

- Maintain yearly costing and pricing data towards customer contracts while ensuring confidentiality

- Monitor and manage customer contracts via the MRO software and ensure electronic archiving.

- Provide up-to-date data and support the central teams in charge of technico-economical analyses (Technico-Eco & MCRB MRO team)

Job Requirements

- Bachelors Degree (Commerce / Science / Technical)

- Demonstrated experience in cost controlling and project management.

- Knowledge of aircraft engines will be an added advantage: interest in technical matters to

understand and translate engine shop visit scenarios (workscope) into costing models and financial data

- Good understanding of commercial and contractual conditions

- Proficiency in SAP FI-CO, MM, SD, PP, with solid experience on production/service order

management, cost planning and controlling

- Good knowledge of IT tools such as Power BI and MS Excel.
