Maintenance- AM/DM | Kishangarh

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Maintenance Deputy Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance operations for our solar module manufacturing facility. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of all production equipment, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a team of maintenance engineers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes in the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Maintenance Operations: Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all maintenance activities related to production equipment and machinery used in solar module manufacturing (e.g., laminators, cell stringers, testers, etc.).
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring effective scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure a highly efficient workforce.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Oversee and implement preventive maintenance schedules, including routine checks and repairs, to minimize equipment downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical equipment failures, coordinating repairs to prevent production delays.
• Root Cause Analysis & Improvements: Lead root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Maintenance Strategy: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement strategies for equipment reliability, maintenance optimization, and cost reduction.
• Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of critical spare parts, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement to prevent production interruptions.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Review and analyze maintenance data to track equipment performance, downtime, and failure patterns. Prepare regular maintenance reports and communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations and best practices. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources for repairs, spare parts, and labor.
• Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with production managers and other department heads to ensure alignment of maintenance schedules with production goals and to resolve any production-related issues promptly.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and new technologies that improve the efficiency of the maintenance process and support the overall manufacturing goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management or engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably in solar module production or similar industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems used in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with machinery and equipment used in solar module manufacturing (e.g., laminating machines, testing equipment, cell stringers, etc.).
• Proficiency in predictive and preventive maintenance techniques, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in team leadership, including training, performance evaluation, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving productivity.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with relevant industrial standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or other maintenance management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing both short-term problem resolution and long-term strategic goals.
