Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Management:
- Lead the FP&A department, including management of senior finance professionals and analysts.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and drive the company's long-term financial strategies and objectives.
- Provide thought leadership on financial trends, market conditions, and operational performance, offering actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Oversee the development and execution of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Drive the creation of detailed financial models to assess business performance, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis and develop proactive recommendations for mitigating risks or capitalizing on opportunities.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish and maintain KPIs and financial metrics to monitor business performance.
- Prepare and present high-level financial reports and presentations for the board of directors and senior management.
- Monitor financial and operational results and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with business leaders across various functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to drive financial performance and ensure the alignment of business and financial strategies.
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews with functional leaders, offering insights to drive operational and financial efficiency.
Financial Governance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk management efforts by identifying potential financial risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
Team Development & Mentorship:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team within the FP&A department, providing guidance on career progression and skill development.
