Our client is a prominent Oil and Gas exploration and production and marketing company headquartered in Nigeria, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and lead their Sales Operations in Africa.
Experience - 8 - 11 Years
Location - Nigeria, Africa.
Roles & Responsibility:
- Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team in Nigeria, setting clear sales targets and performance expectations to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive business growth in Nigeria and the broader West African region. Identify and secure new business opportunities, while expanding market share and increasing revenue from existing clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within Nigeria's oil industry. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, technical, and operational teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of Nigerian and regional customers. Ensure seamless coordination to deliver on sales promises and service excellence.
Contract Negotiations & Deal Closures:
- Oversee complex contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and agreements with key clients, suppliers, and partners. Drive successful deal closures and manage the post-sale process to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight:
- Monitor and analyze local market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities within Nigeria and West Africa. Use this market intelligence to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Sales Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Regularly report on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and market analysis to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations based on pipeline status, key metrics, and business opportunities in the Nigerian market.
