Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and guide a large, geographically dispersed testing team across multiple countries.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts for Workday implementations, covering all areas including :
1. Workday Configurations testing
2. Integrations testing (with other systems)
3. PECI (Payroll Integrations) testing
4. Reports testing
- Conduct thorough reviews of test deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Drive Test Design Workshops and Governance calls with key stakeholders.
- Monitor and track testing progress, identify and mitigate risks proactively, and escalate issues as needed.
- Generate daily testing summary reports and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
- Define and lead the development of the Program-level Cutover Plan, outlining all activities and timelines.
- Oversee the execution of all cutover activities according to the plan, ensuring smooth and timely transitions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e., IT, HR, Payroll) to coordinate cutover activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor cutover progress closely and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Generate daily cutover summary reports and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead for at least two Global-HR Workday Implementation projects.
- Proven experience as a cutover manager or lead for at least one Global-HR implementation project.
- Strong understanding of Workday Testing Methodology and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday configurations, integrations, and payroll processes.
- Solid understanding of Payroll Infotypes and their impact on payroll calculations.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) tool for test management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different departments and locations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
Required Skills :
- Experience with functioning as Test Lead for at least two Global-HR Workday Implementation project.
- Experience of being a cutover manager or lead for at least one Global-HR implementation project
- Well versed with Workday Testing Methodology
- Well versed with Workday Configurations testing, Integrations testing, PECI testing (aka Payroll Integrations) and Reports testing
- Good understanding of Payroll Infotypes
- Should be competent to lead and guide a large testing team that is based across multi countries
- Should be competent to drive Test Design Workshops & Governance calls
- Prior experience with defining Programme level Cutover Plan and driving the execution of cutover activities
- Should have good understanding of Azure DevOps (ADO) tool
- Should be able to generate testing summary and cutover summary reports on a daily basis and manage stakeholder communications
