Test Engineer - PACS (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Test Engineer - PACS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing methodologies, a solid understanding of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems), and a strong technical foundation in scripting and tools.

As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems and applications, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for PACS and related healthcare software systems.

- Utilize ReadyAPI, Groovy Scripts, and Ascential Test for comprehensive test automation and performance testing.

- Write, review, and maintain scripts in C# for automated testing frameworks.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.

- Identify, report, and track defects through the defect lifecycle to resolution.

- Work with cloud-based environments, leveraging basic AWS knowledge to deploy and test applications.

- Perform integration testing for PACS, ensuring seamless communication with other systems like RIS (Radiology Information Systems) and HIS (Hospital Information Systems).

- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols, maintaining data integrity and security.

- Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.

Required Skills :

- Manual Testing : Strong expertise in end-to-end manual testing processes, including functional, integration, and regression testing.

- ReadyAPI : Proficiency in API testing and automation using ReadyAPI.

- C# Programming : Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining scripts for test automation.

- Groovy Scripting : Ability to write and troubleshoot scripts for automated test cases.

- Ascential Test : Practical experience in using Ascential Test for functional and regression testing.

- AWS Basics : Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deployment and testing in cloud environments.

- PACS Knowledge : Fundamental understanding of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems, including imaging workflows and standards (e., DICOM).

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with healthcare IT standards like HL7, IHE, and DICOM.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.

- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
