Academic & Professional

• Minimum 4+ years of working experience with below skill sets.
• BE/B.Tech (4-year) or MS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field required.

RPost is looking for an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to play an integral role in the core SDLC process.

The Senior Software QA Engineer will perform functional, regression and performance tests to help ensure the quality and stability of products and services prior to general availability.

• Experience writing automated tests that include functional tests, regression tests and
  performance testing
• Problem detection, isolation, and resolution skills a must.
• Able to read code and software design documents.
• Able to write user acceptance criteria for user stories
• Active and engaged participation in discussions related to solution design and acceptance criteria.
• Self-directed, responsible approach to meeting sprint commitments.

Experience and responsibilities:

• Requires at least 4+ years of working experience.
• Should have hands on experience with Manual as well as Automation testing and should be able to scale to new technologies within Testing.
• Experience in designing the frame work and preparing the Automation test scripts using Automatics tools like Selenium.
• Experience in deploying the builds using tools like Jenkins.
• Good knowledge in Database testing.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
• Expertise in understanding the SDLC and STLC processes and the QA Life cycle.
• Checks/Review the Test Scenario and Test Cases documents.
• Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project.
• Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Working closely with the development team and participating in planning, estimating, scheduling, retrospectives, and any other team activities.
• Analyze and understand root causes of bugs and their resolution, be able to communicate it to technical and non-technical teams.
• Track and prepare the report of testing activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resouces, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc..
• Adherence to the test execution schedule.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with other teams.
