Agile Coach and Scrum Master

Position overview:

We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach to drive the adoption of agile practices across

the organization to deliver products in a faster and efficient manner.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist senior leadership in driving a cultural change by championing an agile mindset.
• Coach management, Product Owners, and project members in agile and DevSecOps best practices to help facilitate agile transformation.
• Design the overall operating model for an agile organization.
• Develop standards and processes for agile implementation.
• Lead agile workshops for development and functional teams, and other key stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement Agile project management tools.
• Establish and implement metrics to optimize delivery and provide insights into productivity through various stages of agile lifecycle.
• Coach and partner with Product Owners in backlog creation and grooming.
• Serve as Scrum Master for individual teams. Run sprint planning, stand-up scrum meetings and sprint retrospectives.
• Support and foster other Scrum masters professional development who may become coaches themselves.
• On some occasions, run the projects in the traditional water fall or hybrid approach.
• Experience in JIRA concepts.

Eligibility:

• 10+ years of experience and 3+ years of experience as an Agile Coach.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT discipline.
• Effective Verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• Additional Qualifications: Agile Coach and Scrum Master Certifications
• Preferred / good to have skills, experience: Experience in implementing agile practices in different cultures and environments. Strong leader, communicator, and influencer. Experienced in coaching and running agile projects for large US corporations. Experience in Scrum and Kanban. Working knowledge of Jira and/or Azure DevOps
