Senior Agile Coach/Scrum Master (12-15 yrs)

Agile Facilitation & Leadership :

- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) for teams working on data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and BI tools.

- Enable Agile adoption tailored to the unique challenges of data-driven projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Drive a culture of collaboration and iterative improvement across teams.

Data Warehousing & Delivery Management :

- Oversee projects related to the design, development, and deployment of data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and data lakes.

- Ensure timely delivery of scalable and high-performing data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions that meet business needs.

- Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize deliverables, aligning data strategies with business objectives.

Team Coaching & Empowerment :

- Coach and mentor cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Data Analysts, on Agile best practices.

- Foster a self-organizing, high-performing team environment that emphasizes accountability and innovation.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Act as a liaison between technical teams (Data Warehousing, BI, Data Engineering) and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.

- Partner with business units to refine objectives and create deliverables that drive business impact through data insights.

Process Optimization :

- Implement Agile metrics and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to track project progress and team performance.

- Optimize workflows for data modeling, data transformation, and reporting pipelines to enhance quality and speed.

- Support teams in addressing challenges related to data integration, governance, and quality assurance.

Technical Collaboration :

- Collaborate with teams working on data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), ETL frameworks (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Airflow), and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

- Provide guidance in Agile delivery for projects involving data pipeline automation, data architecture optimization, and cloud-based data platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Agile Expertise :

- Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in data warehousing, BI, or data engineering environments.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in data-driven projects.

Data Warehousing & Engineering Knowledge :

- Hands-on experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and ETL/ELT processes.

- Familiarity with data modeling, data architecture, and data pipeline automation.

Business Intelligence Expertise :

- Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker and their integration with data warehousing platforms.

- Understanding of BI concepts such as dashboarding, self-service analytics, and data visualization best practices.

Leadership & Communication :

- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to inspire and mentor teams while building a culture of trust and accountability.
