About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales and Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations and drive the sales performance of our franchise stores in the Home Decor category. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective inventory management, stock counts, and meeting financial targets across all franchise locations. This role requires a strong understanding of P&L management, operational processes, and a passion for driving sales in the home furnishings space.


Key Responsibilities:

P&L Management

  • Monitor and manage the P&L for each franchise store, ensuring targets are met or exceeded in terms of revenue, cost control, and profitability.

Sales and Business Development

  • Drive sales across all franchise stores, focusing on the sales of home furnishings and decor products.

Inventory and Stock Management

  • Oversee inventory management across all franchise locations, ensuring that product levels are adequate and aligned with demand forecasts.

Franchise Operations & Support

  • Provide operational support and guidance to franchise owners to ensure smooth store operations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track store performance using key metrics (sales, inventory turnover, customer satisfaction) and work with franchisees to optimize operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • P&L Management: Achieving profit margin targets and cost management goals.
  • Sales Growth: Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for home furnishings products across all stores.
  • Inventory Control: Maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing wastage, and minimizing stock discrepancies during regular stock counts.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamlining store operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day management, minimizing downtime and operational issues.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Enhancing the customer experience, improving store ratings, and monitoring customer feedback.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience: 8-15 years in sales and operations management, preferably within the home decor or furniture industry.
  • P&L Management: Demonstrated experience in managing P&L for retail stores or franchise operations.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong track record of driving sales in the home furnishings or related industry, with a clear understanding of sales strategies.
  • Inventory Management: In-depth knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and supply chain operations.
  • Leadership and People Management: Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, including store staff and franchise owners.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (preferred).
