- We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Category Head for Home Decor to drive the growth and performance of our Home Decor category.

- As the Category Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire category's performance, including turnover, profitability, inventory management, and overall business strategy.

- You will lead a cross-functional team to ensure optimal product assortment, availability, and margins to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Category Management: Lead the Home Decor category to achieve targeted growth and profitability by implementing effective category strategies.

- Manage the product lifecycle, from sourcing to end-of-life management.

- Financial Performance: Monitor and improve key financial KPIs including:

- Category Turnover: Achieve revenue growth targets through strategic assortment planning, pricing, and promotions.

- Profit by Category: Drive profitability across the category by optimizing cost structures and margins.

- Margin Management: Ensure that the margin goals are met by analyzing pricing, product mix, and cost management.

- GMROI (Gross Margin Return on Investment): Improve GMROI by effectively managing stock levels, product mix, and pricing.

- Inventory Management: Drive optimal inventory turnover to ensure efficient working capital usage while maintaining product availability.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align category strategies with the company's broader goals.

- Report on category performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Experience:

- 8-14 years of experience in category management, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or home decor industries.

- Proven experience in driving revenue growth, profitability, and margin improvements across a category.
