Category Manager - Retail/Consumer Electronics (5-8 yrs)

Our client is looking for a retail business profession to join their team as a Category Manager - Retail (Consumer Electronics) and shape category strategies across super, hyper, and omni-business formats.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own consumer electronics category P&L, achieve sales and margin targets, and execute effective pricing and promotions for entire retail business.

- Optimize Buying and merchandising formats for each product line.

- Build localized plans based on consumer insights, market trends, and competitive data to meet customer needs.

- Negotiate with vendors to drive value while fostering strong partnerships.

- Optimize seasonal strategies by assessing market conditions and conducting regular market visits.

- Identify growth opportunities and address challenges to improve performance at all levels.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject specialization (Master's preferred).

- 5-8 years of experience in Retail category management.

Technical Skills & Behavioural Skills:

- Strong understanding of retail industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
