About the role:

- The Lead IT and Security professional brings over 15 years of extensive experience in Azure AD identity management, MS Exchange Online, IT Security, Email Security, Network, and Network Security.

- As an expert in multiple areas of cyber and information security practices, tools, and methodologies, this role is pivotal in implementing and enforcing secure best practices within an enterprise.

- A successful candidate will leverage their profound understanding of IT Operation techniques, and procedures to design and secure systems and architectures.

What you'll do:

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust cybersecurity strategy across the enterprise, with a focus on Azure AD identity management, MS Exchange Online, IT Security, Email Security, Network, and Network Security.

- Oversee the vulnerability management program, including identification, analysis, prioritization, and remediation across all platforms.

- Develop and enforce hardening standards and secure configurations for operating systems, databases, applications, and network devices.

- Lead security architecture reviews for new and existing projects, ensuring systems are secure by design.

- Manage and optimize perimeter security solutions (firewalls, VPNs) to protect the organization from external and internal threats.

- Direct cyber incident response efforts, guiding containment, eradication, and root cause analysis processes.

- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security best practices into business operations.

- Lead cybersecurity awareness training programs to promote a security-first culture across the organization.

- Collaborate with third-party vendors to assess their security postures and ensure alignment with internal security standards.

- Report to executive leadership on the overall security posture, incident response efforts, and cybersecurity program maturity.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT and Security, with significant experience in Azure AD, MS Exchange Online, IT Security, Email Security, Network, and Network Security.

- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is required.

- Extensive experience with vulnerability management tools, Azure AD identity management, and compliance management systems.

- In-depth knowledge of Azure AD identity lifecycle management, along with NIST, ISO 27001, and other security standards.

- Strong understanding of networking and security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, Azure VMs, IDS/IPS, SIEM) in Azure AD environments.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and Azure AD PowerShell and Graph API to integrate identity management workflows.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of security professionals in Azure AD-focused environments.

- Proven experience in cloud incident management, with a focus on forensic investigation, root cause analysis, and post-incident review.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security topics, particularly Azure AD and MS Exchange Online security concerns, to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple security projects effectively.

- Ability to build scripts for analysis of large data sets to support security investigations and monitoring.

- Ability to operate independently without frequent supervision or explicit direction.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Industry-related certifications are desirable.
