Assistant Manager

Location: Vallam Vadagal, Sriperumbudur
Department: Production

Roles And Responsibilities :
1. Ensure the effective utilization of production lines, minimizing downtime and preventing line stoppages.
2. Drive productivity improvements and ensure the achievement of production targets.
3. Optimize tool utilization while minimizing in-house rejection and rework.
4. Maintain a safe working environment within the shop floor, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
5. Demonstrate expertise in process automation and its implementation.
6. Manage and coordinate internal, external, and IATF audit requirements.
7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Competence Required (Technical & Behavioral):
1. Good understanding of production planning and process optimization
2. Knowledge of tool management and quality control techniques
3. Expertise in machine installation and commissioning processes
4. Understanding of automation technologies and process integration
5. Extensive experience in machine shop operations, including handling CNC, VMC, and jigs & fixtures.
6. Proactive mindset with strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
7. IT Literacy - proficient in SAP and MS Office.
8. Auditing in IATF.

Minimum Job Requirements :
Educational Qualification (Regular): B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile or Production
Engineering
Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience
Industry Exposure: Machine Shop / Machining Background / Automotive
