Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating cybersecurity artifacts to ensure the quality and safety of DC/DC converter products as per ISO 21434 standards. This role requires strong expertise in automotive cybersecurity, CAN testing, and penetration testing (PEN testing). Experience in power electronics is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cybersecurity Compliance : Develop cybersecurity artifacts and documents to ensure the quality and compliance of DC/DC converter products according to ISO 21434 standards.
- PEN Testing : Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on automotive embedded systems to identify potential security risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- CAN Testing : Perform Controller Area Network (CAN) testing and analysis to ensure secure communication within automotive systems.
- Cybersecurity Risk Management : Participate in risk assessment and threat modeling processes to address security concerns and mitigate vulnerabilities in automotive embedded systems.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering and testing, to ensure the implementation of robust security measures across automotive embedded systems.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, standards, and industry trends to enhance the security of automotive products.
Qualifications :
- Experience : 4-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive embedded cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of ISO 21434 : Strong understanding and practical experience in implementing ISO 21434 cybersecurity standards in automotive systems.
- Testing Skills : Proficiency in CAN testing and penetration testing (PEN testing) within the automotive domain.
- Power Electronics (Optional) : Experience in power electronics or related domains will be a plus.
- Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with other teams.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in automotive cybersecurity protocols and secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with embedded security tools and techniques.
- Understanding of automotive control systems and their security requirements.
