Cyber Security Engineer - Penetration Testing (6-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer with extensive experience in automotive electronics product development and cybersecurity implementation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cryptography, security frameworks, system architecture, and diagnostics for automotive and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and validate cryptographic solutions, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, PKI, key management, and digital certificates.

- Perform firmware reverse engineering and device security hardening.

- Manage cryptographic keys, random number generation, and secure material handling.

- Ensure adherence to CERT C guidelines.

- Execute Functional Safety activities as per ISO-26262-2 standards (Parts 3, 4, 5, and 6).

- Work with AUTOSAR security components, such as SecOC, CSM, and CDD.

- Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware, effectively resolving issues.

- Implement device identity and integrity controls, secure boot, code signing, and OTA/FOTA updates.

- Conduct vulnerability analysis and penetration testing for TCP/IP-based automotive systems.

- Implement secure libraries and frameworks (e.g., bootloader, HSM, SHE, TPM, TEE).

- Utilize automotive diagnostic protocols like UDS, OBD, and KWP.

- Perform grey-box testing, including command injection, data corruption, backdoor analysis, and network overloading.

- Develop and execute system security measures like whitelisting, runtime integrity checks, anomaly detection, and message signing.

Desired Skills :

- Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools for software quality assurance.

- Knowledge of model-based system engineering principles.

- Proficient in analyzing electronic components, schematics, and automotive architectures.

Educational Qualification :

- BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/ECE/EEE/CS/Mechatronics from a reputed institution (full-time).

- ME/M.Tech/MS in a relevant field is a plus.

Desired Skills :

- Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools for software quality assurance.

- Knowledge of model-based system engineering principles.
