About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cyber Security Engineer with a strong background in cybersecurity practices and C/C++ development.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in protecting our systems and networks from potential threats while contributing to secure coding practices and development projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Security Design & Implementation : Develop and implement security measures to protect organizational systems, networks, and data.

- Threat Analysis : Identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities and potential threats in existing systems.

- Secure Coding : Collaborate with the development team to write secure and efficient code using C/C++.

- Incident Response : Investigate and respond to security breaches, providing timely resolution and reporting.

- System Monitoring : Perform regular security monitoring to identify and resolve potential threats.

- Compliance Management : Ensure systems and applications adhere to security best practices and regulatory standards.

- Tool Development : Build and maintain custom tools for vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat management.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with exposure to secure coding practices.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming and debugging.

- Linux.

- Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.

- Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools.

Security Certifications (preferred but not mandatory) :

- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker).

- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

- COMTIA.

Problem-Solving Skills :

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.

- Communication Skills : Ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
