Business Analyst (5-8 yrs)

Looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong data analytics background in Supply Chain Domain and willing to learn new technologies. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing products in supply chain, manufacturing, and unstructured data.

What You'll Do :

- Discuss with customers/SME to understand business processes and formulate solutions to intricate requirements.

- Working with large datasets from disparate systems to derive trends, patterns, and correlations that integrates with data-driven solutions.

- Play a key role in enhancing the value of products and services.

- Produce quality deliverables like, high and detailed level designs including data model, API specifications, wireframes, program logics, user requirement documents etc.

- Collaborate with the development team to ensure development is carried out as per the specifications. Guide the young development team with creative logics to solve complex requirements.

- Create test scripts and carry out functional testing, generate test results and ensure development is done as per expectations.

- Create WBS of new project/activity with task timelines and milestones with business outcomes . Estimate efforts required for each task.

- Ensure delivery of the tasks are as per the project timelines.

- Contribute to the achievement of Project KPI's.

- Follow project management process as defined for the project (JIRA / any other application).

- Attend daily or periodic meetings with the clients, present status and discuss requirements, challenges and manage situations.

- Establish good relations with the clients and look for new business opportunities identified by gaps or pain points faced by them.

- Acting as a single source of contact for the business requirements for the delivery team.

- Prioritize, Manage & Deliver multiple tasks meeting aligned timelines, with optimal quality and optimize customer satisfaction.

- Work in a distributed team environment across multiple time-zones.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

- 5+ years of experience in the role of a Business Analyst.

- A positive and welcoming attitude to undertake multiple complex tasks despite time constraints and effectively managing them.

- Self-directed, self-driven and proactive approach to solve problems leveraging available resources.

- Possess analytical way of thinking and troubleshooting issues.

- Excellent client-facing, interpersonal and communication skills.

- Hands-on with SQL Data analysis.

- Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

- Proficient in Jira - decompose business processes into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and manage product backlog.

- Ability to create good project documentation.

Nice to Have :

- Functional experience in SAP/JDE in Supply chain: production/procurement/sales and distribution.

- A good understanding of business processes in cross functional areas.

- Experience and knowledge in analyzing supply chain tables/data of at least one ERP system, SAP or JDE.

- Knowledge in how tables can be joined to bring out a business reporting requirement.

- E2E ERP implementation experience is an added advantage.

- An understanding of Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau/Power BI/Graph UI)

- Experience on Consumer, Pharma/Life-Sciences industry.

- Basic ability to understand technical code ABAP / Python etc.
