We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Research Manager to lead our team of Talent Research Specialists. In this role, you will drive the mapping and identification of technical talent through innovative research methodologies, competitor analysis, and collaboration with Recruiters and Hiring Teams. You will find creative sourcing techniques and avenues with a strong focus on diversity hiring. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing diverse talent networks and ensuring a strategic pipeline of candidates to meet our hiring needs.
You will:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Talent Research Specialists, providing guidance and support in executing effective talent research strategies, with a strong focus on diversity talent sourcing.
Diversity Talent Sourcing: Lead initiatives to identify and engage diverse talent across multiple sourcing channels, ensuring our hiring practices are inclusive and equitable.
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Recruiters and Hiring Teams to develop and implement strategies for converting passive candidates into a strategic talent pipeline.
Talent Research Oversight: Supervise comprehensive competitor mapping, market segmentation analysis, and demographic reporting to enhance our hiring strategies as talent advisors.
Lead Generation: Direct the teams efforts in conducting extensive searches across various talent networks to generate leads for Recruitment partners, while also managing inbound application volumes and employee referral evaluations.
Pipeline Development: Ensure the team builds and maintains proactive talent pipelines for multiple job requisitions, creating critical leverage across Talent Acquisition (TA).
Innovative Sourcing Strategies: Guide the development of sourcing strategies using niche job boards, professional networking sites, and search engines to identify both active and passive candidates.
Data Management and Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of data quality through regular audits, maintenance, and cleanup of our talent systems.
Service Level Agreements: Ensure adherence to SLAs to maintain seamless business continuity within TA, ensuring timely delivery and support to cross-functional stakeholders.
You have:
8-10 years of experience in technical sourcing or talent research
3-5 years in a managerial or people leadership role
Proven track record in diversity talent sourcing and building inclusive talent pipelines
Expertise in conducting Boolean searches and proficiency in using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and other relevant technical talent research tools
Strong research and sourcing skills with a creative approach to tackling challenging hiring requirements
A commitment to continuous improvement and a genuine curiosity for learning, with the ability to understand diverse perspectives
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
