Job Title: Manager
Direct Supervisor: Senior Manager

Job Overview:

The Manager Global Contract Life Cycle Management will be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle across ACT's global operations, ensuring compliance and process improvement in contract management. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various regions, overseeing the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and processes, and leading a team of global professionals. This position will be key to transforming and enhancing sourcing and procurement processes, with a focus on governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead a global team that implements and manages CLM processes and software across the organization.
    • Provide training to internal users, supporting the adoption and efficient use of CLM tools and processes.
    • Guide the team in ensuring contract compliance and providing timely support to contract owners.
  2. Contract Template Management:
    • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and sales departments to draft, review, and finalize contract templates.
    • Ensure that templates adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
    • Continuously maintain and improve contract templates for efficiency and consistency.
  3. Contract Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the management of contracts from initiation, negotiation, execution, through to renewal or termination.
    • Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions within the contract lifecycle.
    • Handle contract performance issues such as disputes, breaches, or violations, ensuring swift resolution.
  4. Contract Renewals & Amendments:
    • Manage the process for contract renewals, amendments, and renegotiations.
    • Evaluate contract performance and identify necessary modifications to meet changing business needs.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner closely with procurement, finance, legal, and business departments to ensure contracts align with company operations and objectives.
    • Provide guidance on best practices in contract management and ensure consistent execution across teams.
    • Actively contribute to global procurement strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement:
    • Leverage CLM tools (Icertis, Sirion, Docusign, etc.) to optimize contract management processes.
    • Identify and propose improvements to the contract management system and associated workflows.
    • Work with the CoE management team to support transformation projects that enhance procurement excellence and compliance.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Global Procurement, Legal, Finance, Business Functions) and external vendors.
    • Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders, especially in cross-functional project teams.
    • Act as a key point of contact for contract-related issues and improvements.
  8. Support Transformation Initiatives:
    • Support the establishment of a CLM support team in Gurgaon, India, and ensure efficient operation post-implementation.
    • Drive improvements in contract compliance to better serve internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure the effective use of technology to manage contracts and related processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree preferred (Procurement, Supply Chain, or related fields). Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • At least 8 years of total experience in procurement or contract management.
    • 3+ years in a leadership role managing contract operational processes.
    • Proven track record in implementing and managing CLM systems.
    • Experience with contract template creation and managing approval workflows.
    • Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
  • Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of contract law and compliance.
    • Proficiency with CLM software tools (Icertis, Sirion, SAP Ariba, etc.), SAP, JDE Oracle, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
    • Familiarity with operational purchasing, contract management systems, and relevant procurement processes.
