Job Title: Associate Director - Institutions and Corporate Hospitals.
Division: Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD).
Location: Mumbai.
Reporting to: Commercial Director (Cluster Head).
Job Responsibilities:
Business Growth and Targets:
- Drive top-line revenue, market share, and bottom-line targets for the division.
- Responsible for business forecasting, planning, and sales force organization.
Budget Management:
- Control operating budgets while ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
Market Access and Growth:
- Lead market access projects and initiatives to enhance product reach in public markets.
- Conduct fieldwork to gain insights and identify new growth opportunities.
Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with government institutes and corporate hospitals.
- Focus on driving product inclusions and shaping policies and tenders.
Collaboration and Internal Processes:
- Coordinate with internal teams across different business divisions.
- Ensure successful execution of tender applications and order deliveries.
Sales Team Engagement:
- Drive engagement with the sales team through monthly reviews, CSMs, and other meetings.
Tender Business Management:
- Ensure timely and quality execution of tenders and supply deliveries.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use insights and data to make informed decisions on pricing strategies to improve tender win rates.
Skills, Education & Experience:
Education:
- Graduate in Science/Pharmacy.
- MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing.
Experience:
- 15-20 years in Sales and Marketing within the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry.
- 2-3 years as a business leader with a successful portfolio.
- 4-5 years of experience managing government tender business and corporate hospital business.
- Strong network with government institutes and key opinion leaders.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Growth mindset with the ability to drive transformational growth.
- Creativity and a drive for results.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and influence.
- Analytical abilities with financial acumen.
- Planning and organizing skills for both short-term and long-term goals.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Oversee a team of 50+ employees, including Sales teams, Tender teams, and market access staff.
