Rigel Networks - Quality Assurance Automation Tester - Cypress (5-8 yrs)

Position : QA Tester- Automation with Cypress

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 5-8 yrs

Skills : Software/Automation testing , Cypress(Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test suites using Cypress.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various testing types (functional, regression, integration, API).

- Perform thorough root cause analysis of defects and work with developers to resolve issues.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development process.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.

- Conduct performance and load testing as needed.

- Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall test coverage.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-8 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.

- Strong proficiency in Cypress for test automation.

- Experience with object-oriented programming concepts.

- Experience with various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Experience with testing APIs (REST, SOAP).

- Experience with Selenium or other automation tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

- Experience with testing mobile applications (iOS, Android).

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.

- Experience working in an Agile environment.

- Immediate to 15 days joiners will be preferred.

- Candidates with experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 companies will be given priority
