Payroll Manager

Job Summary: The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll functions of the organization. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and effective management of payroll staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
• Compliance: Maintain compliance with state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor payroll team, ensuring efficient workflow and professional development.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze payroll reports, including quarterly and annual filings.
• System Management: Oversee payroll systems and software, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Preparing different HR MIS reports for the organization involves collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to help manage HR functions effectively
• Manage payroll processing, including salary calculations, statutory compliance, and ESI/PF contributions.
• Ensure contract labour management is in line with Contract Labour Act and PF rules.
  Oversee leave management, exit formalities, time office management, and wages administration.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leaves, and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues related to payroll processing or compliance.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-8 years of experience in Payroll Management & Statutory Compliance.
  
• MBA/PGDM degree in HR/Industrial Relations preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of Payroll Software and proficiency in using it for various functions such as salary calculations, leave management etc.
