Role & responsibilities

Should be BE Mechanical / electrical with proven experience in Team management

(Most Important) Experience in purchase of raw material like Aluminium, Copper, Plastic for Fan Motor manufacturing

MRO purchase of Dia casting machine, injection moulding, painting, winding, tool room, CNC, VNC

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for the organization

Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power

Reviews and processes purchase orders of the team.

Maintains records of goods ordered and received

Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers on annual basis

Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price ensure that factory production does not hamper

Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.

Manages other members of the purchasing team, mentor & upgrade their skills

Perform cost and scenario analysis, and bench marking vendors & suppliers

Determine quantity and timing of delivery report to Management

Hardcore into RM purchase of steel, aluminium, plastic, copper

Vendor development from China

Purchase turnover of 100 crore & above
