Enterprise Business Intelligence is looking for a Senior Engineer who will deliver enterprise capabilities that drive analytics. The capability provides one stop solution for hosting insights where tens of business units and thousands of users logon on daily basis.
The engineer would leverage full stack web engineering and API stack for development. Cross team collaboration and adoption of enterprise platforms would be key.
Responsibilities Include:
- You will be responsible for design and build of applications leveraging the full stack web engineering and API stack.
- Hands-on coding for medium and complex level user stories for the product. These include but not restricted to Spring CRUD operations, API Services, Backend components.
- Exploring enterprise frameworks, evaluate and integrate with application.
- Review / Release / Deployment / Support of features.
- Lead a team of 4-6 engineers.
- Mentor colleagues and nurture future talent for the organization.
- Contribute to high level design as well as detailed design of complex subsystems with emphasis in high availability and low latency.
- Working with developers in day-to-day activities and helping in review of design, coding and the SDLC tasks.
- Build POCs to experiment new technologies, databases and other application infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Computer Science / Information Systems degree, or equivalent with min 10+ years of work experience.
- Must have skills :
- Java/ J2EE / Spring / API
- Data Technologies Stack like SQL Server / Redis / S3 Storage
- Understanding of cloud technologies especially wrt web engineering stack.
- Good to have skills on Big Data Visualization Stack like Hive / Spark / Tableau. Familiar with big data processing tools and techniques
- Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question status quo and think outside of the box.
- Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
