Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing and a deep understanding of the Playwright framework. This role will involve designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the high quality of our web applications.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application functionality and identify testing requirements.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.
Work closely with CI/CD pipeline to integrate automated tests.
Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across various browsers.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in test scripts and application code.
Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.
Provide test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
Proficiency with Playwright framework.
Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.
Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and tools like Cucumber.
