Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the desktop infrastructure for our organization. The Desktop Engineer will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting desktop systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience. This role involves working closely with IT teams to provide technical support, manage software updates, and maintain system integrity across all workstations.

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operating systems, and software.
• Troubleshoot desktop-related issues and provide timely technical support.
• Manage software updates, patches, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with network and server teams to ensure desktop systems are properly integrated.
• Monitor and improve desktop performance, security, and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of desktop hardware and software.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and desktop imaging tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with desktop virtualization and remote desktop support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
