QA SDET - UI/Java/Python

• This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on multiple projects independently and as part of a project team.

• This is more than just a testing position; we are looking for a strong full-stack Quality Engineering background mixed with Software Development skills to deliver test automation and evangelize quality practices.

• This person will be an integral part of the development team, leading quality test planning, defining and writing automated tests, while using agile testing methodologies.

• Software Quality Engineers in the Data and Analytics Solutions group can expect to code eighty percent of their time.

Job Description:

• Strong coding experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python or another object-oriented programming language
• Experience testing Web Services to cover functional status responses and business logic
• Experience writing test automation for UI through standard tools, Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor
• Experience developing automated tests within a test automation framework
• Familiarity with SQL and working knowledge of relational database technologies
• Strong test case development, test planning and execution experience
• Familiar working in a mature CI/CD environment with a test early pattern.
• Experience with RESTful Web technologies: Oauth2, XML, JSON, serialization, marshaling
• Hands-on experience working in agile software delivery teams
• Capable of absorbing new technologies quickly, while designing succinct quality strategies
• Big Pluses: Experience with public cloud testing, big data platforms, performance or security testing

Qualification:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
