Role Overview:
Will be responsible for developing and managing the mutual fund distribution business through the IFA channel. The role involves building strong relationships with IFAs, driving business growth, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Drive the acquisition and onboarding of IFAs to expand the distribution network.
- Develop strategies to increase sales of mutual fund products through the IFA channel.
- Identify and explore new markets for expansion and penetration.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing IFAs to drive consistent business growth.
- Address queries, provide timely support, and enhance IFA satisfaction.
- Organize IFA engagement programs, events, and training sessions.
Channel Performance Management
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics of IFAs to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop incentive structures to motivate and retain high-performing IFAs.
- Ensure achievement of sales targets in alignment with company goals.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and support professionals working in the IFA channel.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to mutual fund distribution.
- Maintain ethical practices and protect the company's reputation in the market.
Experience
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in mutual fund distribution, with a focus on the IFA channel , from distribution companies or stock broking firms.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Experience in team management and leadership roles.
