Job Summary:

The Head of Commercials will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing financial and commercial operations, ensuring seamless invoicing, contract management, and financial controls. This role requires a strong understanding of GST compliance, financial operations, and commercial risk management while collaborating with multiple departments to drive efficiency in business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Management & Tax Compliance

• Prepare, review, and ensure the timely issuance of inward and outward invoices, adhering to GST regulations.
• Monitor and maintain accurate financial transaction records for audit and compliance.

2. Financial Control & Budget Oversight

• Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including budget management, expense tracking, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.

3. Cross-Departmental Coordination

• Work closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Teams to streamline financial and commercial processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for financial and commercial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

4. Contract Review & Risk Mitigation

• Evaluate customer, supplier, and vendor contracts from a commercial perspective to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Negotiate and implement contract terms and financial clauses aligned with company goals.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CA or MBA in Finance & Ops(Preferred)

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of GST regulations, tax laws, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in finance, commercial operations, or contract management.
• Prior experience in financial reporting, cost control, and commercial risk assessment.
